Growing accessible & inclusive
travel in Fiji with MDF

Rosie Travel Group     Nadi, Fiji     10 August 2026
The Rosie Travel Group has partnered with Australia’s Market Development Facility to grow Fiji’s accessible and inclusive inbound tourism market through AccessibleFiji.com and GSTC awareness training and certification.

— The Rosie Travel Group has signed an agreement with the Australian Government-funded Market Development Facility (MDF) to grow Fiji’s accessible and inclusive travel market from Australia and New Zealand.

Demand for accessible travel continues to rise across Australasia, driven by an ageing population, multi-generational travel and increasing expectations for accessible and inclusive visitor experiences. According to Tourism Research Australia, accessible tourism generated a record AUD 29.2 billion in expenditure in 2024 across 70.5 million trips.

To help position Fiji as a more accessible and inclusive destination, the Rosie Travel Group has launched AccessibleFiji.com — a dedicated destination platform designed to increase awareness of accessible tourism offerings, support accessibility assessments and promote inclusive travel experiences across Fiji.

“AccessibleFiji.com is a very deliberate strategy to tap the huge potential for Fiji and to do it properly. And so, it is very important that we build our awareness of what this traveller requires in terms of handling and service.”
